I'm Vlada. I taught myself to paint in 2018, mostly in the evenings, with no one to tell me what came first. I made a lot of muddy canvases before I understood that painting is a sequence, and that the sequence is what makes it feel calm.
This course is that sequence, the one I wish someone had handed me. Three layers, one painting, no rush. Make a cup of tea, clear a corner of the table, and press play.

Composition
Map the landscape with watercolour pencil. Soft, forgiving and easy to correct, so nothing is ever ruined.

Underpainting
Light and tone
Block in light and shadow with fast-drying acrylic. This is the moment the painting starts to glow.

Oil layer
Colour and finish
Build colour, depth and texture in oils, slowly, with every brushstroke shown. Finish with confidence.
Paint in small evenings. Each layer is its own session. Stop when the light goes, pick up where you left off tomorrow.
